Mercedes-Benz to build its own production of fuel cell stacks in Canada

Mercedes-Benz announced today that it will set up its own production of fuel cell stacks inCanada. By doing so, the company will bundle the development and production for one of the key components of fuel cell powered electric vehicles in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi Honeycomb tablet announced for sale in US for $599

March 27 is a big day for anyone in the US waiting for the contract-free Wi-Fi only version of the Motorola Xoom Honeycomb tablet. Said to be available for US$600 in Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, RadioShack, Sam's Club, Staples and Walmart, the Xoom eschews the 3G and 4G components of the Verizon version but will still have all the same specs like the 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, and a 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution.

Motorola Atrix comes to Bell tomorrow

The long wait for the world's first dual-core super smartphone is over. The Motorola Atrix as well as its optional  Lapdock and Webtop accessories are scheduled to come to Canada tomorrow via Bell. The Atrix smartphone sells for $170 on a three year contract but can be had for $600 contract free.
