Renders of the LG G6 appear, give us a better idea of what's coming at MWC

The LG G6 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated flagship releases of the year. Recent rneders show what this device could look like and it seems to be an improvement over the sleek looks of the LG V20. The renders, courtesy of Evan Blass (@EVleaks). There's a lot riding on the LG G6, the company posted their first quarterly loss in six years and this slide is attributed to the less than stellar LG G5 and its Friends, which failed to capture user interest despite the promise of modular expansion.

LG has some wiggle room to really shine at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, specially with rival Samsung sitting out this launch cycle, which gives LG the spotlight at the show. Stay tuned for more LG G6 news as we get more information in the coming days.

Apple's Campus 2 will officially be called Apple Park, begins occupancy in April

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

It was once called the spaceship, an ode to the 'mothership' inside joke among Apple employees and fans. It is the star of dozens of flying drone videos showing its rapid construction. Now nearing completion, with occupancy beginning in April, the Norman Foster designed structure known as Campus 2, will now be known as Apple Park.

Considered by many to be Steve Jobs' last legacy to Apple, the 175-acre campus, will be ready for employees to begin occupying in April. The process of moving more than 12,000 people will take over six months, and construction of the buildings and park lands is scheduled to continue through the summer.

The company is honouring their founder, who would have turned 62 this Friday, February 24. By naming the 1,000 seat auditorium as the Steve Jobs Theater.

Here’s your first look at the cast of the standalone Han Solo film

From left to right: Woody Harrelson, Chris Miller (director), Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Joonas Suotamo (as Chewbacca), Phil Lord (director), & Donald Glover

We’ve been hearing about it for months but now we get a closer look at some of the cast and crew of the upcoming Han Solo movie. The untitled film started shooting yesterday at Pinewood Studios in London. The story will supposedly “explore the duo’s [ Han and Chewbacca] adventures before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, including their early encounters with that other card-playing rogue from a galaxy far, far away, Lando Calrissian." As we know, Calrissian will be played by Donald Glover. The titular character will be played by Alden Ehrenreich and Joonas Suotamo will play Chewbacca.

Disney and Lucasfilm haven’t confirmed the roles of the others in the photo above, namely Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Emilia Clarke. Not included in the photo is Thandie Newton, who has been confirmed to be part of the film as well. It’s been rumoured that Harrelson will be playing Han’s mentor and Waller-Bridge will be a droid in a CGI-driven performance. This Han Solo film is expected to hit cinemas in May 25, 2018.
