iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus pre-orders top 4 million units in 24-hours

Setting another record for pre-orders, Apple said today that the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the largest iPhones ever made, received over 4 million pre-orders. The devices, which come to stores on September 19th, are expected to be in short supply, so we should see some lines of people trying to get the devices on day one. Many iPhone preorders aren't scheduled to get to customers until October.

"Demand for the new iPhones exceeds the initial pre-order supply and while a significant amount will be delivered to customers beginning on Friday and throughout September, many iPhone pre-orders are scheduled to be delivered in October. Additional supply of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available to walk-in customers on Friday, September 19 at 8:00 a.m.," said a statement from Apple.

Storage Sense tipped to make its way to Windows 9

Leaks of an early build for Windows 9 or Threshold have shown up and it looks like they’re bringing a new useful feature to the next iteration of the operating system. Storage Sense is meant to make it easier for you to look up what files or apps are taking up the most space in your Windows Phone device. We’re not sure if this will make it to the final cut of the OS but it sure would be handy if it did.
