'Hogwarts Legacy' game gets delayed to February 2023

The open-world game Hogwarts Legacy needs a bit more time before it gets released. Developer Avalance Software announced on Friday the release got pushed back to February 10, 2023, instead of its fall 2022 schedule. This new schedule applies to the PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms. The Nintendo Switch schedule will be announced soon.

"We're excited about what we're creating here at the studio and we just need a little bit more time to deliver the best possible experience to everyone," said Chandler Wood, community manager for Avalance Software, in a video tweeted Friday.

It looks like Google is following in Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video's footsteps. The company is reportedly working on adding a "channel store." According to the Wall Street Journal, YouTube plans to "launch an online store for streaming video services and has renewed talks with entertainment companies about participating in the platform."
