Samsung launches Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro

Source: Samsung

The last pair of devices Samsung launched are a couple of smartwatches. We aren't just getting a Galaxy Watch5 but a Watch5 Pro, too. The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 is the more casual model. It has an armour aluminum case paired with a sports band. Unlike its predecessor, though, the rotating bezel is gone. There are two sizes: 44mm and 40mm.

Without the rotating bezel, it has an edge-to-edge screen. It can still track your health data with the help of sensors like its three-in-one bioactive sensor, temperature sensor, barometer, accelerometer, and more. You can get information on length and quality of sleep, heart rate, stress level, blood oxygen, ECG, and more. The Galaxy Watch5 gets 284mAh (40mm) and 410mAh (44mm) batteries, which are 13 percent larger than their predecessors.

Samsung brings hi-fi audio to its Galaxy Buds2 Pro

Source: Samsung

Another iterative update from Samsung comes in the form of its premium earbuds. The new Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro earbuds get a smaller, more comfortable design and add 24-bit audio playback. According to the company, it's 15% smaller than the original Buds Pro, with the venting grille expanded for improved airflow. This design should reduce that "plugged up" feeling you might experience. And perhaps it could improve these earbuds' transparency mode sound quality, too.

As mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro now supports 24-bit hi-fi wireless audio playback, which Samsung achieved through its proprietary "seamless codec (SSC HiFi)." The company says, "Quality music is enabled to transfer without a pause, and the new coaxial two-way speaker makes those sounds richer than ever." You will need a Samsung phone running One UI 4.0 or later. The music app you're using also needs to support it. (Spotify doesn't at the moment.)

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 debuts with improved multitasking

Source: Samsung

Another Samsung device that got a bit refined is the new Galaxy Z Fold4. Samsung focuses on improving the experience on the Fold with a few tweaks to the design. Samsung slimmed down the hinge, reduced its weight, and narrowed the bezel.

The cover screen is still 6.2 inches but with a 2,316 x 904 resolution and 23.1:9 aspect ratio. (The Galaxy Z Fold4 has a 2,268 x 832 resolution with a 25:9 aspect ratio.) Inside, it has a brighter 7.6-inch display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate (like the cover display) and, as rumoured, a less visible under-display camera. We can't speak about its quality without testing the phone.

How Cryptocurrency Is Changing the World

Believe it or not, cryptocurrencies have been around since the 1980s. It was in 2008, though, when they first started to gain mainstream popularity. The reason why this happened in 2008 was due to the appearance of Bitcoin, which was created by an anonymous group of programmers still not yet known by the public!

Then, in the mid-2010s, cryptocurrency truly exploded. Millions of people started to invest in Bitcoin (and other types of crypto, too), which led to the current crypto environment seen today.

Now, crypto is everywhere – but how exactly is it changing the world? Plus, most importantly, should you care? Let’s take a closer look.
