Meet Philips' 'most intelligent electric shaver yet'

If you thought the electric shaver couldn't gain some smarts, you haven't seen the new Philips Shaver S9000 yet. The company calls it its "most advanced shaver to date." It's packed with SkinIQ technology, which uses artificial intelligence to personalize the shaving experience. The S9000 can adapt to your individual skin and hair type, so your skin is less irritated and healthier looking.

The Philips Shaver S9000 is paired with the GroomTribe app to monitor your skin's progress and help you master your shaving technique. The app has been co-developed with dermatologists and helps identify specific skin issues. The shaver has 45 high-performance Dual SteelPrecision Blades, 360-degree fully flexible heads, and Protective SkinGlide Coating to minimize irritation, especially for sensitive skin.

CD Projekt Red partners with Epic Games for the next 'Witcher' game

Source: CD Projekt Red

The next Witcher game is coming, but we can't say when it'll arrive. What we know now is The Witcher: A New Saga Begins will mark the game's shift from CD Projekt Red's REDengine to Epic Games' Unreal 5. CDPR says this game marks the "beginning of a multi-year strategic partnership with Epic Games." And that it "covers not only licensing but technical development of Unreal Engine 5." It will help with tailoring the engine for "open-world experiences."

As Kotaku pointed out, the last full Witcher game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, came out seven years ago. But it got regular updates, so the game was kept fresh. We aren't sure when the new saga will begin, and CDPR said it had "no further details regarding the game—such as a development time frame or release date."

As students compete at regional fairs leading up to this big event, YSC encourages the participants to join the purpleSTEMwave. It's a campaign unified with YSC's purpose to encourage Canada's youth to investigate scientific questions and develop innovative solutions for existing and future issues.
