Webex Meetings for iPad rolls out Picture in Picture support

Source: Cisco

The feature first showed up last month, but Cisco wants you to know that its Webex Meetings app now supports Picture in Picture on iPadOS. Now, when you're in a meeting in the app, you can exit the app and still see the meeting window in PiP mode while trying to get other tasks done on other apps. To enable the feature, you just need to tap on the Picture in Picture button once, so the video screen scales down to the corner of your iPad.

Lego to finally bring Princess Peach to 'Super Mario' sets in August

Source: Lego

Lego's Super Mario sets haven't had any of the game's leading ladies since it was introduced two years ago. But that's about to change, at least for Princess Peach. Lego commemorates Mar10 Day by bringing the princess to its Super Mario Adventures range.

Her Starter Course will be available on August 1 for US$60 (approx. CA$76). A combo Cat Peach suit and Frozen Tower expansion set will launch on the same day for US$80 (approx. CA$102). There will also be other Super Mario expansion sets and accessories coming on that day. Lego has even teased Peach's Castle, Yoshi's Gift house, and Goomba's Shoe sets, but we don't know when these will come out and for how much.

Google launches new beta program for Pixel Feature Drops

Source: Google

Google Pixel owners—at least those who own a Pixel 4 or later—can access new Android features earlier, at least through a new beta program. Google has announced the release of the first beta for its Quarterly Platform Release (QPR), a.k.a. its Feature Drops. The features in this beta might make their way to Pixel's June update. If you want to try out new Pixel features before they get widely released, you can sign up for the beta here.

According to Google, anyone using the 12L beta will be automatically transitioned to the new QPR beta. These Feature Drops allow Pixel owners to get early access to features included in mid-year updates. But the company hasn't specified what new features are included. For now, the beta "includes improvements to functionality and user experience as well as the latest bug fixes, optimizations, and the March 2022 security patches."
