Fujifilm introduces new X-Series camera lineup

There are a number of new cameras coming out of Fujifilm’s stables. First up is the new flagship X-Pro2, which the company considers the “pinnacle of X-Series photography.” It comes with an Advanced Hybrid Multi Viewfinder that can instantly switch between optical and electronic finders. The X-Pro2 has a new 24.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS III sensor and a new X-Processor Pro meant to improve response times of the camera.

The Fujifilm X-E2 gets an upgrade in the X-E2S. It still has the same durable, compact, and lightweight body of its predecessor but now features better grip, a silent electronic shutter, and an improved GUI. It also comes with Fujifilm’s latest AF system. It has a real-time viewfinder that has large display magnification of 0.62x and an electronic viewfinder with a quick display time lag of 0.005 seconds.

If you’re still perfectly fine with the X-E2, Fujifilm even plans to release a new firmware update for the X-E2 so it has the same software improvements as the X-E2S.

Now, for something a bit different, Fujifilm released the new compact X70. This pocketable digital camera is the first X-Series camera with a rotating touchscreen display. It rotates up to 180 degrees so you can use to shoot from up high, down low, or even use it to take selfies. It has a new FUJINON 18.5mm F2.8 lens and a big 16.3-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor with EXR Processor II.

If you preorder the X-Pro2 and X-E2S before February 4th, you can save $150 off XF35mm F2 R WR lens.
