Google Photos makes finding documents easier

Image: 9to5Google

Organize screenshots and photographed documents better with the latest update to Google Photos. Now, the app automatically identifies screenshots, receipts, notes, and other documents, making them easier to find and manage.

Open a photo of a document, and you'll see a label in the top left corner. This tells you how Google Photos has categorized it. Tap the label to change the category or view all your documents in one place. You can even assign multiple categories to a single image for even more organization.

The available categories include screenshots, books and magazines, event information, identity, notes, payment methods, receipts, recipes and menus, and social.

This update is live for Android and iOS users. While not available on the web yet, it shows Google's commitment to improving document management within the app. Google might be adding even more features to the Documents section in the future, giving you even more control over your digital memories and content.
