OnePlus 15 will be one of the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered phones

During Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit in China, OnePlus teased its upcoming flagship phone, the OnePlus 15. The tech company said it will be one of the first devices in the world to carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Qualcomm claims its latest chip "delivers breakthrough speed, sustained gaming power, intelligent photography and all-day efficiency."

Aside from talking about the processor, OnePlus said its upcoming flagship phone will have a "self-developed" DetailMax image engine to capture clear, realistic images.

OnePlus China President Li Jie showed a black version of the OnePlus 15, with a design similar to the OnePlus 13T instead of the OnePlus 13. The company confirmed the device will have a 165Hz but kept the rest of the details under wraps. According to OnePlus, it will release more details in the coming weeks.
