Fujifilm debuts new Soft Haze instax Square Film

Credit: Fujifilm

Alongside the launch of its new Instax Square 2 camera, Fujifilm has unveiled Soft Haze, a fresh variant of its square-format instant film that changes the photographic look rather than just altering the outer borders. Formulated with a newly developed film emulsion, Soft Haze produces photos with reduced saturation, lower contrast, glowing highlights, and warm, diffused shadows. Designed to deliver an authentic analog character that digital filters cannot replicate, the stock aims to capture emotive, naturally expressive images across a wide range of settings, including portraits, sunlit interiors, and travel landscapes.

Compatible with any camera or printer that shoots in the instax Square format, Soft Haze is set to launch at $18.99 per pack in the US. While it has not yet been featured on Fujifilm's official Canadian website, but we'll keep you posted for updates on local availability.
