Meta, EssilorLuxottica debuts new styles for smartglasses

Meta Glasses have gotten a refresh through Meta's partnership with EssilorLuxottica. The smart glasses come in three frame styles, with one pair designed in collaboration with Kylie Jenner. The companies said there are 26 frame-and-lens combinations available, including support for prescription lenses.
Similar to the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, these come equipped with a 12-megapixel camera, with video capture supporting up to 3K at 30 frames per second and still images at a resolution of 3,024 x 4,032 pixels. It also still has a dedicated action button that gives you instant access to Meta AI, which runs on the company's new Muse Spark AI model. It also has an open-ear speaker system alongside a multi-microphone array for calls, music and podcasts, as well as voice commands.
Meta promises up to 8 hours of battery life, which can be extended by up to 40 hours through the included charging case. In Canada, the Meta Adventurer and Fury styles retail prices start at $409, while the Starfire Kylie Edition begins at $549.
