Dummy unit of the rumoured foldable iPhone Ultra surface

A new set of leaked dummy images for Apple's rumoured first foldable smartphone has appeared online. Supposedly named the iPhone Ultra, the wide-screened foldable looks similar to the Huawei Pura X Max, with a stout, book-like form factor. According to JamOnline, the device could be nearly as thin as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 when folded. Unfolded, it's expected to measure just 4.5mm.

On the back of the phone, there is a dual-camera setup housed in a pill-shaped module, while the inner display features a hole-punch cutout in the upper left-hand corner for the camera and the cover screen sports a centred cutout for one more sensor. The volume buttons sit at the top edge, while the power and Camera Control buttons are on the side.

The iPhone Ultra is rumoured to run on an A20 Pro chipset with 12GB of RAM and to come with a 5.49-inch cover screen and a 7.76-inch flexible inner display. The foldable is anticipated to launch alongside the Apple 18 series in September.
