Samsung officially launched the Galaxy S26 FE, expanding its Galaxy S26 lineup with promised flagship-grade camera performance and context-aware artificial intelligence. Powered by the new One UI 9 software, the smartphone introduces several creator-centric imaging upgrades.

Headlining the feature set is My FanCam, an auto-tracking video tool migrated from Samsung's latest foldables that automatically keeps subjects centered in the frame. The device features a triple rear camera system similar to its predecessor—comprising a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom—complemented by Nightography, Super Steady Video with Horizontal Lock, and natural language editing via Photo Assist.

On the software and performance front, the Galaxy S26 FE leverages One UI 9 to deliver upgraded Galaxy AI features, including customizable briefing cards via Now Brief, dynamic contextual shortcuts through Now Nudge, and multi-object identification using Gemini Live and Circle to Search with Google.

Hardware specifications include a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4,900mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging, 8GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage. Samsung is also backing the device with long-term software support, promising seven generations of operating system upgrades and seven years of security updates.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will officially hit shelves on September 4, offered in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio finishes. Retail pricing starts at $1,049 in Canada and will be available starting September 4.
