'Sneaky Sasquatch' adds birdwatching in upcoming September update

Credit: Apple

Players of Sneaky Sasquatch on Apple Arcade will soon have a new hobby to add to their roster of "mischievous" adventures. Starting September 17, over 30 bird species will populate the game's world, adding a dedicated birdwatching feature alongside existing activities like skiing, racing customized sports cars, and practicing medicine.

To participate, players must spot the feathered creatures, capture them on camera, and deliver the photos to a local birder to log them in a bird database for rewards.

The new mechanic also introduces a grading system where photo quality matters:

  • Composition and subject: Higher quality shots yield better ratings.
  • Bonus payouts: Players earn extra points for capturing rare species, logging brand-new sightings, or snapping multiple birds in a single frame.
