Nothing launches flagship Headphone 1 Pro with studio-focused controls for $589.99 CAD

As it plans its next steps for its smartphone series, Nothing has officially announced its new flagship audio device: the Headphone 1 Pro. Retailing for $589.99 CAD, the over-ear headphones feature physical controls, the brand's signature see-through panels, and dedicated features tailored for audio professionals.

Available in black and white, the Headphone 1 Pro ships with a retro glossy plastic hardcase designed to leave the headband accessible for carrying. Key audio features include a triple-driver architecture managing bass, vocal, and instrumental ranges independently, alongside support for LDAC, 24-bit high-res audio, and dual transmitter/receiver Auracast support. Notably, a dedicated physical toggle allows users to bypass spatial audio and custom settings for a flat, uncolored sound profile developed in partnership with London-based Metropolis Studios.

Nothing claims the Headphone 1 Pro delivers its strongest active noise cancellation to date, utilizing a 10-microphone array and a silicone baffle wall for enhanced isolation. Ergonomic updates include ear cushions that are 50 percent softer and better suited for glasses, plus a 10 percent wider headband. The IP52-rated headphones offer up to 32 hours of battery life with ANC on and 68 hours with ANC off, and are available for purchase now directly through Nothing's website.
