Ducati CEO announces plans to develop electric motorcycle

Ducati is late to the party, but at least it’s joining it. The company’s CEO Claudio Domenicali told guests at a Spanish event that the “future is electric” and he said the company is “not far from starting production.” Other than this announcement, Domenicali didn’t release any other details about what the electric motorcycle might be like. Ducati has designed and produced multiple electric bicycles with other companies. One of them is the Ducati Zero, which the company collaborated with the Milan Polytechnic School of Design.

Netflix’s ‘The Kominsky Method’ gets second season after Golden Globes win

Netflix

It makes sense for Netflix to capitalize on a win. The streaming service renewed The Kominsky Method for another season after it won two Golden Globes for best actor in a musical or comedy (Michael Douglas) and best musical or comedy series. The second season will have eight episodes and Douglas, Alan Arkin, and other cast members will be reprising their roles. Production is expected to start later this month, but it isn’t clear when the new season will be coming out.

Cortana introduces new Scenes, Rules features

Even with Cortana getting a downgrade as a digital assistant, the virtual assistant is getting new features related to your smart, connected home. One of the new features is Scenes. It lets you bundle settings together under one name. For example, for a setting like Movie Time, you can set the lights to dim and the thermostat at reach a certain temp. MSPowerUser describes Rules as more conditional settings like IFTTT. For example, turn off the light at 6 p.m. The feature is said to be rolling out now to all platforms where Cortana is available.

Latest 'Shazam' trailer sets us up for a lighthearted hero movie

It's hard to top Aquaman in terms of superhero movies but from what we can see from the "Shazam" trailer, we might be getting one of the most enjoyable and original superhero movies yet. Shot mostly in Toronto, 'Shazam' focuses on Billy Batson, a young boy who is given the magical powers of ancient gods. The trailer shows Batson's baby steps towards becoming a hero with his friends's help. If you liked Spider-Man: Homecoming, Shazam  seems to promise the same light-hearted entertainment. Shazam is played by Zachary Levy, whose work in Chuck was a cult favourite.

One of the oldest superheros, Shazam's powers are quite epic and put him in the league of Superman and Wonder Woman. I'm interested to see how Shazam ties into the whole DC Universe and Justice League.
