Google Home now lets you set location-based reminders

The latest Google Home update will now let you tell it to set location-specific reminders. You can prompt it with things like “Hey Google, set a reminder to pick up more coffee at the grocery store.” If your location services are on, you’ll get a reminder once you arrive at the place you set, like the aforementioned grocery store. You can even be more specific and ask for Google Home to remind you of a specific store, like say a Starbucks, and it’ll alert you if it finds you in any Starbucks. This gives Assistant an advantage over Siri because you need to specify a specific location to get the reminder. This feature is available for both Android and iOS devices.

Review: Spectre x360 13 2-in1

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

There's been a design renaissance over at HP for the past couple of years.  The company has actually been creating some of the sexiest and slimmest hardware in the PC market. A far cry from the nondescript and cheap devices we remember from years ago.

The new HP Spectre x360 13 is a slim Ultrabook that converts into a folding 2-in-1 and it is quite a remarkable device all around.

Google Assistant comes to the iPad

While limited in terms of functions, if you’ve been waiting for Google Assistant to come to the iPad, your wait is over. Google has finally brought it to the iPad. Some of the things Assistant can do on the iPad include things like dimming the lights, texting or making video calls, setting reminders, or casting to your TV. And since the tablet has a bigger screen, it allows for multitasking with other apps. It also works in both portrait and landscape modes.
