Apple and Microsoft hike device prices as AI infrastructure monopolizes chip supply

Report: Apple's rumoured foldable iPad gets delayed

A foldable iPad or Mac was being rumoured to be coming. But we might have to wait a bit more for that, at least according to GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu. He claims the larger foldable Apple device will take a while to reach the market, saying Apple delayed its release internally. However, Pu didn't specify how long the delay will be.

Google launches Gemini app for iPad

Google brought its Gemini app to the iPad and is now available on the Apple App Store in countries where Gemini is available. The app supports the iPad's Split View so you can run a different app alongside it. Google launched a native Gemini app for the iPhone in November 2024.

A giant foldable iPad on the horizon?

Apple is supposedly working on a foldable device, likely a giant iPad that unfolds into a tablet twice its size (around 20 inches). This ambitious project, currently in development, is expected to launch around 2028, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter.
