Owners of 2016 Pixel phones get to keep free unlimited original-quality photo uploads on Google Photos

We know Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL owners have until January 2021 to be able to upload original quality photos without it counting against your storage. But it seems the original Pixel devices from 2016 won’t be affected by this change. That means owners of the 2016 Pixel and Pixel XL will be able to upload photos and videos in their original state for free for an indefinite amount of time (we can’t say that Google won’t change its mind somewhere down the line).

Blizzard sues Chinese game developer for ripping off ‘Overwatch’

Protecting its intellectual property, Blizzard is suing Chinese developer 4399 for what looks like a blatant rip-off of its hit game Overwatch. 4399 named the game Heroes of Warfare and if you see the gameplay video above, it does look rather similar to the Blizzard game—from the playable characters to the maps, and even down to the heads-up display. As with other IP infringement lawsuits, Blizzard, together with its Chinese partner NetEase, is asking for 4399 to cease production of its game, monetary compensation for damages, and that the aforementioned game be taken down from the Android and iOS app stores.

Google slashes the price of its USB-C to 3.5mm dongle in half, now costs $10

The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are two flagships that have also gotten rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack. It now requires you to buy the headphone jack dongle if you want to listen to music on the device with wired earphones/headphones. And it wasn’t cheap when Google released it at $20. Thankfully, Google seems to have realized this was a tad too expensive and cut the price in half. It now costs $10, which is in the same price range as Apple’s replacement headphone jack dongle for the new iPhones.

There will be a Porsche Design version of the Huawei Mate 10

Aside from Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, it looks like we’re getting a pricier model, too. A new teaser from the Chinese company’s Facebook page shows the Huawei logo beside the Porsche Design logo. It comes with the text: “The most advanced technology meets the most expressive design on 16.10.2017. #Huaweimate10 #PorscheDesign.” We, of course, can expect a premium build and an infinitely higher price tag with this model. And if we base it off the Mate 9 Porsche Design, this model should be based off the Mate 10 Pro. We just have a few days before we discover what these new devices are made off.
