Adobe to shut down Contribute, Director, and Shockwave beginning February

A lot has changed since Adobe programs Director, Contribute, and Shockwave came out. And with Adobe putting its focus on its Creative Cloud suite, it looks like it wants to close some doors it’s opened in the past. The three aforementioned apps will be shut down starting February 1^st for the Director and Contribute software, while Shockwave for Mac will stop getting support my March 14^th. This marks the end of Macromedia software, a company Adobe acquired back in 2005. You can read the full official statement here.

eBay adds support to Android Nougat’s app shortcuts feature

eBay is taking advantage of Android Nougat’s app shortcuts feature in its latest update. If your phone is running on Android 7.0 and higher, you’ll get to see four new app shortcuts on your home screen. These include Following, Selling, Watching, and Search. The app also now has a round icon for the Pixel Launcher.

If you aren’t running the latest Android operating system though, eBay has some bug fixes for the app. These include fixes for a notification bug that opened older messages or items and app restart after the app has been put to the background. eBay recommends that you re-add the eBay shortcut from the app drawer.  Aside from these, the app also will now supposedly let you save your search filters. All you need to do is tap the lock icon in the filter menu.

Fitbit is red hot right now and seems to be enjoying a surge in popularity. The Fitbit Charge 2 fitness tracker seems to be its most popular model in the market right now. I think a lot of people got these as presents over the holidays and the device hasn't even peaked.

The Charge 2 is everywhere, I've seen it in ariports, in food courts and worn by all sorts of people trying to become more active or conscious of their health.
