Reports: New iPads aren't expected until 2024

Apple

Apple won’t launch any new tablets until March 2024, sources say. (The consolation prize for iPad fans: a budget-friendly Apple Pencil.) Apple’s iPad lineup may not change much for a while, but it will get some hardware updates in 2024. The company is reportedly working on several new models, such as the iPad Air, entry-level iPad, and iPad mini with better specs. There’s also a new iPad Pro in the pipeline. Sources say Apple plans to release some of these iPads in March.

Google Keep brings text formatting to older notes

9to5Google

You know you have it if you spot the underlined "A" in the bottom left of the app.

Instagram tests feature to let you make stickers from photos

Meta

Instagram is testing a new feature that lets you create stickers from your own or other users’ photos and use them in Reels or Stories. Unlike Meta’s AI-generated stickers, this tool is simple. It just cuts out the subject of a photo and makes it a sticker. Think of it as the sticker feature built into iOS 17's iMessage.

Adam Mosseri showed how it works in a video on his channel. He said you can also make stickers from "eligible images" on Instagram, but didn’t explain more. Maybe users can choose to share their photos as stickers. This feature is not available to everyone yet, since it’s still a test.
