Apple’s iPad has always been positioned as the next evolution of personal computing and the replacement of notebooks and desktops. It wasn’t until the release of the iPad Pro line that this ideal really had the foundation to stand on.

Aside from desktop-level processing power, a number of operating system tweaks to improve multitasking and multi-app usage plus an expanding ecosystem of accessories that help bridge the gap between tablets geared for content consumption  and content creation devices like notebooks and 2-in-1’s, we’re starting to see the realization of this Post-PC ideal.

Nintendo 3DS game sales double thanks to Pokémon GO

Think of it as the halo effect of Pokémon GO. Nintendo is enjoying increased games sales for its 3DS handheld thanks to the insane popularity of Pokémon GO.

Shipments of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, games for the 3DS handheld device, have more than doubled in Japan since the Pokemon smartphone app debuted in early July, according to data from gaming magazine Famitsu. These games have been available since 2014 but are now enjoying renewed popularity thanks to Pokémon GO.

A division of Loblaw Companies Limited, announced the availability of Apple Pay today, offering PC Financial MasterCard customers further choice, security and convenience with the ability to use iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch to make seamless purchases.

Samsung just announced the latest version of its popular phablet line. Foregoing the '6' version model, Samsung's latest is the Note 7 which features a 5.7” Quad HD Dual edge Super AMOLED display, an Octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. The Note 7 continues Samsung's focus on photography with a 12MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization and an F1.7 aperture, Front facing camera featuring 5MP F1.7 aperture.
