Netflix outs 360° virtual reality trailer for ‘Stranger Things’

Netflix’s first foray into experimenting with virtual reality is for one of its hottest new shows, Stranger Things. The streaming service released a 360° virtual reality trailer of the show that brings you right into Will Byer’s living room. If you haven’t seen the show yet, you’ll get the tone and feel of the sci-fi horror series just from watching this. Since it’s available on YouTube, you can watch it on your smartphone (make use of the YouTube app) and plug it into your VR headset (if you have one). If you don’t, you can still swipe through the screen as you watch it. It can also be viewed on your PC.

Get a personalized playlist of new songs with Spotify’s Release Radar

Spotify’s Discover Weekly is a useful playlist for discovering new and old music alike that suits your taste. The music streaming service is taking it a step further with Release Radar, a new customized playlist for new music. Unlike Discover Weekly that updates every Monday, Release Radar comes out on Fridays. It’ll have around two hours’ worth of releases from your favorite artists as well as some new discoveries based on your listening habits. According to Spotify, Release Radar works as a “perfect complement” to New Music Friday, which could show you new artists you don’t know about yet.

Dell updates XPS towers with new designs and added power

Dell has updated its XPS Tower, XPS Tower VR (virtual reality) and a new XPS Tower Special Edition desktops. They bring the blazing speed and performance that tech, gaming and VR enthusiasts asked for with the latest Intel processors and NVIDIA graphics, as well as easy expandability in a new 27 percent smaller form-factor.

Additionally, both the XPS Tower VR and Special Edition come virtual reality-ready for both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, for immersive video, game, film and other experiences. The XPS Tower Special Edition also features a beautiful aluminum design with diamond-cut edges, NVIDIA’s latest Pascal graphics, Intel K-Skus and overclocking capabilities on select configurations.

First Look at the HP Spectre

The HP Spectre is being touted as the 'World's Thinnest Laptop,' and while that may be true, it is really so much more. HP has set out to design the most impressive and attractive notebook PC and looking at the HP Spectre shows that they have taken great care in creating something truly remarkable. Out of the box, HP provdes a neat carrying case to go along with the power adaptor and the notebooks itself.

There are some outstanding notebooks in the market. The Apple MacBook, the Dell XPS 13 and even Microsoft's Surface Book represent devices that push the boundaries of design, construction and performance in notebooks. The HP Spectre takes a lot of the best features of these devices and creates an entirely new line of super-slim yet wholly capable devices.
