James Bond gets free-to-play mobile game with ‘World of Espionage’

With the new Bond flick, Spectre, coming out soon, it means different promotions are going to pop up to promote the 24th movie in the franchise. Glu Mobile and MGM teamed up to create the free-to-play mobile game James Bond: World of Espionage. It’s a multiplayer strategy RPG game that has you finding, recruiting, and developing spies for the MI6 HQ in London. And since you’ll be going on covert missions around the world, you need to have the best team with you.

You can also play things like the Alliance Wars or join limited time event challenges to help make your agency the best. The game employs over 100 real-world actors and models to play both agents and villains, making you feel like James Bond himself, even if it’s just for a game.

Apple buys Perceptio, startup specializing in advanced smartphone AI

The buying spree for Apple continues. This time, Apple has bought Perceptio. The startup specializes in developing technology to let companies run artificial intelligence systems on smartphones. What differentiates them is it isn’t sharing as much user data in the cloud. This seems in line with Apple’s stance of user data protection. And since this collects less data, they can stand by that idea. Again, Apple won’t confirm details about the deal and just issued the standard: “Apple buys smaller technology companies from time to time, and we generally do not discuss our purpose or plans.”

Windows 10 might have been made available for free, but enjoying the optimal Windows 10 experience on Microsoft's new devices is going to cost you.

Microsoft just unloaded a kaboodle of new hardware and none of them can be considered cheap, even if the unified OS which they run, Windows 10, is one of the most accessible and available operating systems in the market today. Since it launched eight weeks ago, Windows 10 has been installed in over 110 million devices by users hoping to exorcise the demons left behind by Windows 8 on their PC's, 2-in-1's and tablets.
