Motorola's focus on innovation continues under Lenovo

London - We're a few hours before a multi-country product launch for what many analysts believe to be a new batch of Motorola smartphones. There's a contagious buzz around what Motorola, now under the stewardship of Lenovo, continues to deliver under a challenging and competitive smartphone landscape.

Motorola Mobility has managed, quite admirably, to push out innovative handsets despite being acquired by Google (mostly for a trove of smartphone and wireless patents) and then being sold off to Lenovo late last year. During this time, the company has not only released a notable flagsip yearly in the Moto X, they've also created their most saleable device in emerging markets and the prepaid, contract-free segment in the Moto G.

OnePlus 2 brings dual-SIM capabilities to the flagship Android segment

The OnePlus 2 was revealed earlier today and while still being made available on an invitation basis, the replacement for the OnePlus One does bring a lot of desirable innovations. Top of the list are a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage and a secure fingerprint scanner.

The new iOS app Triller is a music video creator that doesn’t need you to have any editing chops. The app is designed to let you shoot a video from part of or one entire song from your library of featured tracks or your own collection. You then shoot multiple takes that can run for the entire length of the clip. Shoot as many takes as you want and customize these with the app’s 14 available filters.
