Release of Android Lollipop to Nexus devices gets delayed

Nexus users have been tipped that they would be getting their updates for Android 5.0 Lollipop any day now. However, Android Police reports the over-the-air update has been delayed due to bug issues. Those using Nexus 9 and Nexus Player already have the builds shared but those with a Nexus 4, 5, 7, and 10 have to wait until November 12. Google hasn’t really released a specific timeline for the OTA update but they have said on Twitter to Nexus 4 and 5 users that it will be arriving in the coming weeks.

Twitter.com lets you compose tweets from the top of your timeline

If you have thought you’ve been dying to say out loud on Twitter, the social network is making it much easier for you by placing the compose window at the top of your timeline. This feature seems to only be available on the Web version of the app and we’re not sure if it’ll be coming to the mobile apps.

Swype adds 16 new languages and emoji suggestions to iOS app

In case you’ve been living under a rock, you can now use third-party keyboards on iOS 8. Nuance is hoping you give Swype a try with its latest update. The keyboard gets support for 16 new languages, bringing the total to 21. Some of the added languages include Greek, Russian, Hungarian, Polish, and Hinglish (Hindi and English hybrid).

Swype also now suggests emojis depending on the words you type. So if you type happy words, you’ll be able to see celebratory emojis showing up.
