Google adds shareable link to Drive

Google just included a new way to share Drive links to others. With the new update, you don’t need to specify the email address of the person you’re sharing the files to. This time you get the option to get the URL to share the file. It will be view-only by default but you can also change that to allow for editing. Of course, this also comes with a risk. Anyone with access to the link can then edit the file if they want to. It’s best to just share this with people you trust. The update is rolling out as we speak so it might take a few days or so before it gets to your accounts.

Asus unveils first Android Wear smartwatch, new MeMO Pad and ZenBook

Asus is bringing their own set of new devices to IFA 2014 in Berlin, including their entry into the Android Wear smartwatch market.

The ZenWatch is an Android Wear-powered device that features an AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It comes with a heart rate monitor in front of the case that would need you to press your finger against the screen to measure your heart rate. Since it works with Asus Wellness app, it can also measure other fitness markers. It has a more traditional look with its stitched leather strap. Other features include Asus Remote Camera, presentation control, as well as the ability to auto-unlock your phone with the ZenWatch.

The Apple App Store app has received a huge makover to reflect some changes in the size of product shots as well as clearer icons and controls making it easier to peruse and purchase items in store. Apple Store for iPhone app comes with a new Stores tab that provides up-to-date information on upcoming events and workshops taking place at nearby brick-and-mortar Apple Stores as well.
