Toshiba changes notebook game with new 15.6-inch 4K capable laptop

Toshiba’s Digital Products Group (DPG), a division of Toshiba of Canada Limited, today announced the launch of the world’s first 4K Ultra HD laptop and a variety of  detachable and convertible tablet/laptops signaling a trend that combines laptop computing power and functionality with the flexibility of tablets. Toshiba is also launching two Encore tablets with Windows 8.1 and an affordable 7-inch Android tablet with the new Kit Kat OS.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 preorders begin shipping in Canada

If you ordered a Surface Pro 3 just around announcement time on May 21st and are based in Canada, then you're likely receiving a shipping notice from Microsoft stating that your spanking new Surface Pro 3 and the accessory keyboard (because, really, who buy just the Surface Pro, right?) have shipped and are on their way. Next Samsung Galaxy Note will reportedly get a QHD display

If you're an avid Samsung Galaxy Note fan, you might want to watch for what's next in the pipeline. The South Korean tech company has just posted a web profile for an unannounced and unidentified SM-N910A device that features a 2560x1440 display with the same screen size as the Note 3. This is supposedly the next Note device because the Note 3 for AT&T is the SM-N900A.

If this truly is the next Note device, then it will have visuals that can take on the G3. And we know how Samsung is doing in the display department for its devices.
