Where to buy Microsoft's Surface tablet tomorrow

This Friday is when Microsoft begins shipping Windows 8 and starts selling its entry into the modern tablet market known as Microsoft Surface, which was open to pre-order a week ago. You can order online but it will take 1 to 2 weeks to get the device. 

Microsoft has a number of temporary pop-up stores in the following locations. Burnaby, British Columbia (Metropolis at Metrotown); Edmonton, Alberta (West Edmonton Mall); Toronto (Eaton Centre); Vancouver, BC (Oakridge Centre). 7.9-inch Apple iPad mini finally arrives, starts at $329 and preorders begin Friday

Apple finally unveiled its much awaited and highly rumoured iPad mini. The device has a 7.9-inch screen but with the same 1024-by-768 resolution of the iPad 2. Starting at $329 for the 16GB WiFi only version, the iPad mini features a dual-core A5 processor, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.2 megapixel FaceTime camera, 10-hour battery and is 23 per cent thinner than the big iPad as well as 53 per cent lighter at 0.68 lb. The WiFi versions of the iPad mini will be available on November 2 while the LTE-4G data capable version will come later.
