Sony Reader app coming soon to iOS and Android

So, check this out. Pretty soon iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) and Android (smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Tab) will be able to run all major eBook Reader formats. We already have Kindle, Kobo and Barnes & Noble Nook apps available on both platforms and Sony is committed to releasing its Sony Reader app as well. This is big news for avid readers who want the largest selection of eBook sources without needing the eBook reader devices. Add Google's eBookstore to the mix and tablets as e-reader tools just became a lot more compelling.

Skype now available for Symbian smartphones

Skype always sweetens the deal on any smartphone platform. For those times when you need to make local or international calls and are within reach of a fairly strong Wi-Fi signal, Skype is still the most effective and widely adopted option. PayPal Canada launches "Mall Traffic Reports" on Twitter

This holiday season, PayPal Canada is introducing "mall traffic reports" on Twitter through @PayPalCA. The reports are an easy way for shoppers to share information about wait times, store lineups and congested parking lots by posting tweets or real time pictures, alerting others to the busiest shopping destinations using the hashtag #ESCTheMall.
