Motoring: Jaguar launches iPad and iPhone apps

Jaguar has launched an all-new iPad application to mark the presentation of the stunning C-X75 hybrid super car. The C-X75 turned heads last month and was the most applauded concept vehicle in the Paris Motor Show.

The C-X75 is brought to life in the application through the use of exclusive imagery, videos and interviews with the people behind it, including design director Ian Callum and head of research Tony Harper.

The application is available for free download from the iTunes store by searching for “Jaguar 75 HD.” For iPhone, a version is available exclusively designed for the smaller device.

Google launches Samsung's Nexus S as new flagship smartphone

What's this! Google has officially launched its new flagship smartphone the Nexus S and it comes preloaded with Gingerbread (Android 2.3). Essentially a rebranded Samsung Galaxy S complete with the Super AMOLED screen backing a 4-inch contour display, 16GB of storage and a 1GHz Hummingbird processor. It is interesting to note that previous "chosen" Google phones (the T-Mobile G1 and the Google Nexus One) were made by HTC but this one has Samsung written all over it. Google announces eBookstore with 3 million titles for a variety of devices

Google today announced their cloud-based Google eBookstore which starts out with 3 million titles.. Initially available only to US customers, the eBookstore is expected to expand internationally in the coming months. This is a potential solution to the biggest challenge facing eBooks which is fragmentation. Each of the major eBook sellers have their own libraries, closed formats and strict list of devices that can accomodate these titles. The Google initiative's open-to-all approach makes them the most formidable and most open player in this billion dollar marketplace.
