Xperia ZL Coming to Canadian Wireless Carriers this Spring

Sony has just announced the availability of the Xperia ZL coming to Canada with multiple carriers including Bell, Mobilicity, MTS, Rogers, Videotron and WIND Mobile, beginning in April 2013.

Video: 007's Sony Xperia T demoed

Available on November 14th, the Sony Xperia T is the new flagship Android smartphone from Sony. Clad in curved aluminum and in a striking black matte finish, it is being promoted as the "James Bond," phone. While it doesn't have "007" etched on the case, it does feature a dual-core processor, a 13-megapixel camera and an HD front facing camera for video calling.  Sony has included various James Bond videos and themes to promote the phone and the movie Skyfall.

Big on NFC functionality, the Xperia T works with various Sony devices such as headphones and NFC tags to trigger actions and settings. Pricing has not yet been revealed.

Mobilicity products now available in Food Basics

On the heels of upgrading its network to 4G and announcing that its regular rates plans are 50%-off for a limited time, Mobilicity announced it has expanded its National Retail Program with Food Basics.

The value-based unlimited wireless carrier has opened full-service kiosks in four Food Basics stores in Toronto.

Samsung Galaxy S III announced for Wind Mobile, Virgin, Videotron, Telus and Mobilicity

Canadians rejoice! Samsung's new Android flagship smartphone the Samsung Galaxy S III will be coming to Telus, Virgin Mobile (Bell), Videotron, Wind Mobile and Mobilicity. The flurry of announcements came in earlier today. The Samsung Galaxy S III was launched last week in the UK.

The latest Galaxy smartphone features a large 4.8” Super Amoled HD display with a 720 x 1280 px (306ppi) resolution, 1GB of RAM and a number of software and user-focused capabilities running on the Google Android 4.0.4 OS. No actual date or pricing has been released by any of the carriers at this point. They just want people to know that it will be available sometime soon.
