HP adds two new Mini Notebooks with HD video playback and touch-enabled technologies

HP recently released updated mini notebook PCs with new products that span consumer, business and education markets. The redesigned HP Mini 210 is an affordable companion PC, gives consumers all-day computing, optional high-definition (HD) video playback and  HP Mini 5103 is, HP’s latest touch-enabled mini notebook,(2,3) is designed for students and mobile professionals alike.

Apple will cease free iPhone 4 Case program on September 30

The attenuation  or antenna signal-loss issue  that was said to affect the iPhone 4 upon its US AT&T release was not as bad globally as earlier reported and as a result, Apple will end the iPhone 4 free-case program on September 30. This case replacement program  was estimated to cost at the time it was announced Apple $175 Million.

Breaking news: Nokia appoints Canadian Stephen Elop as president and CEO

Espoo, Finland -Nokia's Board of Directors has appointed Stephen Elop President and
Chief Executive Officer of Nokia as of September 21. Elop currently heads Microsoft's
Business Division. Before joining Microsoft, Elop held senior executive positions in a
number of US-based public companies, including Juniper Networks, Adobe Systems Inc. and
Macromedia Inc. He holds a degree in computer engineering and management from McMaster
University in Hamilton, Canada, which is his home country.
