Huawei teases P50 series during HarmonyOS launch

Huawei has just held a big launch for its HarmonyOS 2.0 launch in China, and the company wanted to show off its next-generation smartphone at the launch—at least through a 45-second promo of the device. It didn't say, though, when it will release the new handset.

But the promo featured a slow pan of the device, showing the quad-camera system on the P50. The series is expected to launch with a 1-inch Sony IMX800 camera sensor. Basing it off the screengrab from the video, GSMArena believes it can go from 18mm to 125mm, suggesting it has a 5x periscope zoom.
