Apple’s new ‘Shot on iPhone’ ad honors moms

A week ahead of Mother’s Day, Apple’s new “Shot on iPhone” ad pays tribute to one of the most important people in your life, your mom. It shows a collection of images and videos of mothers interacting with their children. Underneath each photo or clip is the name of the amateur iPhone user who captured the moment.

You can also now add a photo of your mom to the Mother’s Day film for a personal touch.

New iPhone ad focuses on extensive app ecosystem

Apple's continuing its new iPhone ad campaign which highlights what sets it apart from the competition. The most recent ad, which is titled 'Amazing Apps' pays homage to the App Store's 'one and a half million of the best apps available.'
This highlights the iPhone-first strategy of many developers who know that getting their games, applications and utilities on iOS gives them more opportunities to earn. Of note is the mention that Apple carefully curates which apps make it to the walled garden, which means less crapware and bogus applications available (although, you can't avoid some abandoned or outdated ones). The ad is a refreshing 'if you got it, flaunt it.' reminder of how much power our iPhones have thanks to a thriving app ecosystem.

Just in time for the Oscar’s, Apple is promoting the usefulness of its tablets when it comes to film making. The new ad airing at tonight’s awards show features students from the Los Angeles County High School. They used an iPad to write, produce, shoot, score, and edit films. The ad called “Make a film with iPad” was shot with an iPad Air 2 and even includes a voiceover from director Martin Scorsese. There is also a special section on the App Store now that highlights the different apps that the students used to make their films.

Apple's new Ad commemorates the Macintosh, shot entirely on iPhones

Apple's new 1.24.14 ad is a nice tribute to 30 years of Mac, it was shot in one day using iPhones and shows just how widely used Apple's products and technologies are in everything from education, fashion, desigm, robotics and entertainment. Seems a fitting addition to the powerful "What will your verse be?" iPad Air commercial which debuted las month. The new ad was shot during an entire day across various locations. 100 iPhones were used for 70 hours of footage. The whole process was quite remarkable.
