Motorola's Moto Hint smart headset coming to Canada on TELUS for $164.99

Motorola just announced that its smart headset, the Moto Hint, is finally coming to Canada  via TELUS this December for $164.99.

Moto Hint is a discreet wireless earbud. It has a sensor so it automatically turns on when it’s in your ear, and turns off when you take it out. As soon as you take it out, calls will route back to your smartphone, without you having to do anything.  It gives you complete control of your phone and allows you to access everything you need by just using your voice. SlideShow: First look at the Eaton Centre Microsoft Store

Microsoft is opening a flagship store tomorrow at the Eaton Centre in downtown Toronto. Taking over the spot that used to serve as the Sony Store for many years (and effectively replacing the pop-up kiosk that's served as a storefront for two years), the new Sony Store opens tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. Hit jump for details.

Apple issues statement on Masque Attack exploit

Apple has responded to the Masque Attack exploit which is a vulnerability within iOS which powers iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. The exploit happens with websites, messages or emails luring users to install an app from a source other than the iOS App Store or their organisations’ system. The attack to succeeds when a user installs an untrusted app, such as one delivered through a phishing link.

Review: Google Nexus 9

The Nexus 9 is an intriguing entry into the tablet space. By making it the first device to feature the latest, greatest Android Lollipop OS, Google seems to be making a statement about its renewed commitment to tablet users and this is a good thing.

The Nexus 9 is built by HTC, which hasn’t had great success with tablets and which hasn’t made a new tablet since 2011, but who was compliant enough to take the design language of the Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 and incorporate some of its own features (i.e. BoomSound speakers) into the mix.
