Review: LG Optimus 2X on Wind Mobile

Wind Mobile users finally have a super smartphone with all the top specs on the Android fron to use on the network. The LG Optimus 2X  ($445) is LG's first dual core smartphone. Shipping with an older version of Android (2.2 FroYo) and with a 4-inch screen, dual cameras including an HD capable rear 8 megapixel camera, it is arguably the highest spec Android smartphone available on Wind's network.

The Samsung Galaxy S Glide is coming to Rogers and is likely to be a big hit with users who want the best of both worlds. We tried it out briefly and it is substantially light and respectably thin. Definitely a functional option.

Here's a preview of Samsung's middle child in the Honeycomb tablet space. The skinny, yet accomplished Galaxy Tab 8.9 which takes the best features of the 10.1 Tab but sizes it down for improved portability. It features a dual-core 1.5Ghz processor and many of the features that make its larger brother so impressive, including the thin profile and light weight.
