Overview: PlayStation VR

PlayStation’s take on the Virtual Reality (VR) experience is a notable ‘tweener’ solution that sits right in between the high end tower-hungry PC-based rigs like Oculus Rift and the more popular HTC Vive and the smartphone-powered VR experiences like Google Daydream and Samsung’s Gear VR. 

The great thing about PlayStation VR is that if you already own a PS4, you’re halfway there. The addition of the VR Headset, controllers, camera and connector box is all you need to jump head first into the immersive and awe-inspiring VR experiences.

WIND mobile rebrands, is now known as Freedom Mobile, forms new LTE network

WIND Mobile, which was one of the challengers to the 'Big Three' wireless carrier oligopoly in Canada, announced that it has rebrandred as Freedom Mobile with,  "a renewed promise to deliver affordable wireless to value-conscious Canadians."

"As WIND Mobile, we built a strong foundation of more than a million customers," said CEO Alek Krstajic. "And as Freedom Mobile, we are reaffirming our commitment to them and to the core principles of our business – value, transparency and fairness."

Video: See the opening of the first Canadian Google Shop

Janell Fischer, Director of Global Retail Design for Google Inc. cut the ribbon today at the first Canadian Google Shop at the Best Buy Experience Store in Heartland Centre in Mississauga, Canada. 

 Comprised of nearly 700 square feet, Google's new shops are a reflection of the Google hardware brand in a retail space. Even the smallest detail, from the use of curved edges to the hand-picked colour palette, evoke a warm, inviting and playful feel. The shop is fully programmable, meaning its layout can evolve and change as Google’s products do.

Apple's 'Bulbs' advert features all the innovations leading up to the MacBook Pro's Touch Bar

The new MacBook Pros with and without Touch Bar are now starting to become available, so it is only fitting that Apple released a clever new advertisement playing on great ideas an innovations (lightbulbs, if you will). The Touch Bar along with slimmer profile and inclusion of four multi-function Thunderbolt 3 ports, larger trackpad and flatter keyboard and wide-gamut Retina Display are just some of the key features of the new MacBook Pros. Here, the Touch Bar is being hailed as the most innovative and also the one most likely to spur on innovation in the users who learn to use it in their workflows.
