Google breaches Canadian privacy laws,RIM's Balsillie deflects Jobs' reality distortion field

It's happened before and it is likely to happen again. While gathering photos and information for Google's Street View feature in its Google Maps application, the search giant has breached Canada's privacy laws by snagging people's emails and other private information. Canada's privacy commissioner has called Google out while revealing the findings of their investigation.

Breaking News: Google Nexus One resurrected, now available from Mobilicity for $549

One of the most sough after Android super smartphones, Google's own Nexus One (developed by HTC) was prematurely discontinued a few months ago when Google realized that the direct-to-user phone sales system it was employing wasn't working well and sales fell short of expectations. Breaking News: Free Google phone calls from GMail

Google expanded GMail's functionality by adding the ability to make calls directly from the mail interface. The cloud based service is available to customers in Canada and the US and gives you unlimited free calling to those to countries for the remainder of 2010. There are also competitive international rates that rival that of Skype. GMail subscribers just need to sign into their accounts and follow the installation steps or mosey on to http://www.google.com/chat/voice.
