Samsung teases its gigantic 18.4-inch Galaxy View tablet

We’ve already seen the Gear S2 so Samsung decided to sneak in its new rumoured 18.4-inch tablet. Yes, you read that right. Samsung’s outing a large tablet called the Galaxy View. The South Korean company teased the product at its IFA presentation. It’s believed to have a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution and will run on an older Exynos 7580 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It’ll supposedly be powered by a 5,700mAh battery and 8-megapixel rear and 2.1-megapixel front camera. There isn’t any official information about the tablet yet but we should hear about it soon.

Meet Lenovo’s new flexible Yoga tablets

There are three new Lenovo Yoga tablets to choose from. Unveiled at IFA 2015 in Berlin, we get a glimpse of the Yoga Tab 3 Pro and two versions of the Yoga Tab 3.

The Tab 3 Pro is the flagship model with a 10-inch QHD display and a pico projector at the edge of the “handle” of the device with 50 nits of brightness and can project a 70-inch picture. It runs on an Intel Atom x5-z8500 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage. Lenovo boasts that its IP21 splash proof tablet and weighs 1.47 pounds. It features four front-facing speakers, a 10,200mAh battery, and 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front. Design-wise it has metal accents and a black leather back.

Lenovo outs new Vibe and tablet-sized phones

Lenovo’s been busy at IFA with its whole slew of new smartphones. There are three new Vibe smartphones and two “phablet”-sized devices. The new Vibe phones include the S1, P1, and P1m. The Vibe S1 is the selfie-centric device with two front-facing cameras. It has an 8-megapixel camera for those HQ seflies and a 2-megapixel shooter for depth information. These two cameras work hand-in-hand for things like refocusing, cut-outs, and background blur, among others. It’s powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and 2,500mAh battery. It has a 5-inch 1080p display, 13-megapixel rear shooter, and LTE capability.

Lenovo's new ThinkPad YOGA and ThinkCentre Tiny aim to transform business computing

Lenovo announced a broad redesign of its ThinkPad YOGA and ThinkCentre portfolios at IFA. A recent Lenovo survey of more than 6,000 businesses suggested that security, mobility and reliability were amongst the top pain points today and more than a quarter plan to introduce convertible devices. The latest generation of thinner and lighter ThinkPad YOGA 260 and 460 convertibles and faster than ever ThinkCentre desktops have been designed to provide customers with solutions to their critical needs.
