HTC One M8 drives company back to profitability

Still considered the most impressive smartphone release of 2014 and arguably the best Android device in the market right now, the HTC One M8 is largely behind HTC's steady but sure climb back to profitability. Unaudited financials for the past three months show a profit gain of NT$2.26 billion ($75 million) from a total of NT$65 billion ($2.17 billion) in overall revenue.  Hopefully this is the start of an upward trend for HTC and an indication that they will continue to create outstanding products.

Apple posts $7.5 billion net profit, sells 33.8 million iPhones, 14.1 million iPads and 4.6 million Macs

Apple held its quarterly earnings call today to disclose financial results for fiscal 2013 fourth quarter ended September 28, 2013. Apple, which recently introduced new iPhones as well as iPads, had a quarterly revenue of $37.5 billion and quarterly net profit of $7.5 billion, or $8.26 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $36 billion and net profit of $8.2 billion, or $8.67 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Which was expected.

Apple earns record $3.25b profit, promises amazing new products

Apple today announced financial results for its fiscal 2010 third quarter ended June 26, 2010. The Company posted record revenue of $15.7 billion and net quarterly profit of $3.25 billion, or $3.51 per diluted share.
