NDP Group: Microsoft's Xbox Ones finally sell more than Sony's PlayStation 4

Seems that heavy discounting and some popular bundles have helped Microsoft's Xbox One console overtake Sony's PlayStation 4 console for the first time since the two next gen consoles hit the market.  Microsoft has announced that Xbox One was the best selling console in November (thank you, Black Friday). Microsoft 3.0: Pushing productivity across platforms and devices

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's e-mail to employees last week served as the company's manifesto for a new era. Titled 'Bold Ambition & Our Core', the lengthy document sets the foundation for a new Microsoft, one that's moving away from Steve Ballmer's 'Devices and Services,' focused company to a more universal 'mobile-first and cloud-first,' company that embraces the opportunity to be the lead productivity and platform company.

We've seen the writing on the wall, under Nadella Microsoft has become a more altruistic technology giant, one that released their crown jewel, Microsoft Office, to the iPad, the device whose immense popularity threatened to bury the PC as a thing of the past.

Stephen Elop to head Microsoft Devices Group including Xbox and Surface

Stephen Elop is currently CEO of Nokia and he actually gave a great demo and launch event for the new Asha and Nokia X devices this week at Mobile World Congress. Word has it that once Nokia is fully absorbed into Microsoft, Elop, who many saw as contender for the CEO job which went to Satya Nadella, will head the Devices and Studios Group.

Originally a Microsoft employee, Canadian Elop gets the opportunity to steer one major aspect of Redmond as it aspires to fullfill its 'Devices and Services Company," destiny. Under Elop's stewardship will be  Xbox, Surface and all the accessories and physical doodads such as keyboards, mice and accessories from Microsoft. His experience in products from Nokia should come in pretty handy.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment launches Injustice: Gods Among Us

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment  announced the North American launch of Injustice: Gods Among Us for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation3 computer entertainment system and the Wii U system.
