The technology of teeth whitening solutions

 

Teeth naturally get darker in colour though time. When we use tobacco as well as wine, tea, coffee and other products that have a strong and lasting pigment content, this darkening gets worse and is harder to lighten. 

Whitening toothpaste that contains abrasives wears away tooth enamel. Others that contain hydrogen peroxide, cost more money but  some researchers are debating whether this is carcinogenic or has long term effects

OS X 10.9 Mavericks slated for late October release

The latest news from the OS X 10.9 front is that Mavericks is coming in October. While the seventh preview was recently supplied to developers, the OS is still not ready for public consumption. Among the new features coming to Mavericks are iBooks for Mac, Finder Tabs, Apple Maps, App Nap and Compressed Memory plus the usual refinements and overall speed increases. Nokia Lumia 1520 leak shows Windows Phone in a 6-inch 1080p form factor

There's a future for Nokia's Lumia line after the Microsoft purchase as evidenced by the upcoming Lumia 1020 and now the large 6-inch Lumia 1520 which was outed by @Evleaks on Twitter. Pushing the pixels and the boundaries of Windows Phone with a large 1080p HD screen and some additional tweaks. Rumour has it that the Lumia 1520 is coming to AT&T later this year, which means there's always a chance we might see it in Canada soon after that.

Yahoo! unveils new logo, aims for new beginnings, profits

A company's logo is its identity and can be a symbol of its strengths and aspirations. Yahoo! is on the verge of turning a new leaf, becoming relevant and even spearheading certain areas of technology. Its new logo was recently decided upon after a month of testing. For those of us who remember the advent of the Internet, Yahoo! was our gateway to the Internet so it's great to see them realigning. "We wanted a logo that stayed true to our roots (whimsical, purple, with an exclamation point) yet embraced the evolution of our products," says Kathy Savit and superstar CEO Marisa Meyer's blog on their recently acquired Tumblr blog explains the process of how the new logo came to be. It is worth a read. The new logo is more serious, modern and all grown up. Good on you Yahoo!
