Moto 360 (2015) to get Marshmallow treatment

For second-generation Moto 360 users, you’ll soon be getting Android Wear’s latest update as they’ve started rolling it out to the wearable device. Motorola posted a changelog for Moto 360 (2015) that introduces features like Doze, new wrist gestures, improvements on general performance, and support for granular app permissions. It also supports six new languages including Cantonese, Dutch, Indonesian, Mandarin, Polish, and Thai. The update even adds support for Android Wear for speakers but the Moto 360 doesn’t have speakers on board so don’t expect it to speak to you.

Instagram might soon let you manage multiple accounts

If you’re a business owner who manages both your business’s Instagram page while keeping your own account or are of the younger set who keeps “fake” and “real” accounts, things might get easier for you soon. Much like what Twitter allows you’ll be able to switch between multiple accounts. Instagram confirmed they are testing the feature on its iOS app and users on that platform have started to see it. Instagram started doing this for Android users back in November. But it’s still not an official feature and they won’t say when it would become official.

Those who see the new feature will see an Add Account option in the app’s settings. Once you enter the second account, you’ll see a new menu at the top of your profile page and push notifications will show which Instagram account has some activity.

A ‘MacGyver’ movie and TV show are coming

Ingenuity, duct tape, a Swiss Army knife, and whatever else is lying around are needed to show the young ones that you sometimes need more than a smartphone to get things done. To give them a look of a world before mobile devices, a MacGyver movie along with a new reboot series will be coming. Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer made the announcement during a recent earnings call with analysts. He didn’t reveal too many details about the new TV show CBS ordered as well as the movie. But he did say the film will be produced by series creator Lee David Zlotoff and Neal Moritz, who also produced the Fast And The Furious franchise. The series will be a prequel to the original TV show. And since they’re both Lionsgate projects, we want to assume that they’ll be somehow connected.

Taylor Swift to lend her star power for a new mobile game

Taylor Swift is entering yet another venture that will most likely have her raking in more money. The pop superstar is said to be developing a game with Glu Mobile. Glu has worked with other big stars like Kim Kardashian and supposed rival Katy Perry to out Kim Kardashian Hollywood and Katy Perry Pop, respectively. No details yet about the title or type of game will be made with Taylor Swift's name attached to it. According to Glu CEO Niccolo de Masi, "We realize that Taylor and her global fan base expect a new and highly differentiated mobile gaming experience."

What that difference is, we don't know yet. But with her massive social media following (70.4 million on Twitter and 64.8 million on Instagram), we're sure she will be earning some serious money here. Kardashian's game reportedly took in US$43 million in its first three months.
