The GameOn Project lets you know what Android game to play next

Don’t know what Android game to play next? The GameOn Project hopes to take the guessing game out for you. You can think of it as the Pandora for mobile games. The app culls your favorites and has its algorithm recommend other games you might enjoy. The app will ask you your gender, age, and your three favorite games. You can add more as you play or remember older titles. You can even narrow down your search results to filter results such as those you can play with your friends or those that are free.

Twitter now autoplays videos on iOS and the web

Twitter’s jumping on the bandwagon of having videos automatically play while you scroll through your timeline; that is, if you use iOS app or Twitter on the web. The move to have Vines and other native Twitter videos play automatically is meant to keep users engaged on the platform. How effective that is we can’t tell at the moment. Those using iOS will have the clips go into full screen if you’re viewing the videos in landscape.

If you’re worried about this eating up data, you can opt to only let video autoplay while using Wi-Fi or just turn it all off.

HTC to bring ads to BlinkFeed

The day has come that you’ll be seeing more ads on your HTC device. HTC just announced that it’ll be bringing in ads to its BlinkFeed app. It’s rolling out first in the US, the UK, Germany, China, and Taiwan. These ads and sponsored content are designed to look like other BlinkFeed content. You’ll be seeing materials from HTC partners like Twitter, Yahoo, and even HTC itself. But the company promises they will limit the amount of content you’ll see. It’s still a pilot test though, according to HTC. The company promises you’ll get an option to opt out of this feature in the future (we’re willing to guess it’ll be a paid option).

Ford opens online store to sell 3D-printed models of its cars

Want to get your dad his own Shelby GT350R this Father’s Day but aren’t exactly rolling in dough? The next best thing might be a 3D-printed model of said car. Ford just opened an online 3D Store to let you purchase 3D-printed models of its vehicles or the digital files of over 1,000 Ford images. Some of the models available for download include the Ford GT, F-150 Raptor, aforementioned Shelby GT350R, Focus ST, and Fiesta ST. These models are available to order at 1/32nd the scale in plastic for US$39. If you opt to buy the digital files, you can scale them to the size you like and use the materials you want. Digital files go for $3.99.

TurboSquid worked with Ford to develop the site and help fulfill the orders. More Ford models will be coming to the store. You’ll be required to register on the site and promise not to use the items commercially.
