Yelp to debut new website design

Following reports that Yelp will partner with Yahoo!, the business review site decided it was time to debut a new look for the site. According to Yelp’s blog, the new look is aimed at promoting photos of businesses and placing these “front and center.” Once the new look goes live, you will be greeted by six large images instead of the small thumbnails you used to see.

The user review now also emphasizes best menu items, prices, and other essential information. Font size for user reviews’ column has been made easier to read with the column reduced in width. There are also bigger pictures for the review column placed in-line and underneath the text.
