Google Maps Street View takes you back in time with digital time capsule feature

Feel like travelling back in time a bit? Google has introduced a new feature for Google Maps Street View on the desktop that lets you see how much a place has changed over time. The digital time capsule shows you how structures, such as the Freedom Tower in New York City, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, etc., were built. It even shows how reconstruction efforts are going along in Onagawa Japan following the 2011 earthquake and Tsunami.

Strong iPhone sales yield record March Quarter revenue for Apple

Apple held its quarterly earnings call for the second quarter of the fiscal year and reported quarterly revenue of $45.6 billion and quarterly net profit of $10.2 billion, or $11.62 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $43.6 billion and net profit of $9.5 billion, or $10.09 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 39.3 percent compared to 37.5 percent in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 66 percent of the quarter’s revenue.
