New Pixel 4a 5G images leak

New images of the Pixel 4a 5G surface right after its specs got released. UK retailer John Lewis accidentally posted photos of the phone a little early. It was accidentally shown (and at the time of this writing still visible) on the retailer's 4G LTE variant listing. You can see in the phone's status bar the 5G logo, which shouldn't work on the Pixel 4a 4G LTE model. Its rear camera layout also doesn't match the Pixel 4as. 

The 5G version is rumoured to get a second rear camera (12.2-megapixel wide-angle pairs with a 16-megapixel ultrawide), and it'll still have the 4G variant's headphone jack, which is visible in the images on the site. The Pixel 4a 5G will be positioned between the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a. It'll supposedly run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, 6GB RAM instead of 8GB, and it'll have no IP rating. Battery capacity will reportedly be 3,885mAh.

It'll supposedly beat out both the 4a and 5 when it comes to screen size. It'll have the same 2,340 x 1,080 resolution, but it'll be 6.2 inches. It'll have the standard 60Hz refresh rate, though. Looks-wise, it'll still look like the Pixel 4a. The 5G variant will cost US$499 (around CA$669) when it comes out this fall. Google will launch its new hardware on September 30.
