Samsung launched the Galaxy Z TriFold, its most advanced multi-folding phone yet. The device features a double-folding mechanism that opens to reveal an expansive 10-inch display, the largest screen ever on a Galaxy phone. This unique form factor is designed to provide the ultimate balance between phone-like portability and tablet-level productivity, with Samsung positioning it as the shape of what’s next in the mobile AI era.

At just 3.9mm at its thinnest point when unfolded, the Z TriFold promises flagship performance. It is powered by the customized Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, features a high-resolution 200-megapixel camera, and includes a 5,600mAh three-cell battery system. Structural innovation, including an advanced Armor FlexHinge and reinforced display materials, ensures durability and a minimal gap when closed.

The massive 10-inch screen is intended to enhance multitasking and work capabilities. Users can run three portrait-sized apps side by side and utilize the new standalone Samsung DeX feature to set up a full, multi-workspace desktop environment on the device or an external monitor. Combined with integrated Galaxy AI features like Generative Edit and Gemini Live, the Galaxy Z TriFold transforms into a versatile platform for mobile work, creativity, and cinematic viewing.

The device is scheduled to begin its rollout in Korea on December 12, 2025, with launches in additional markets, including the United States, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates, to follow.
